Volunteers Needed to Help Cleanup the Lake!!
You are invited to join us to keep the lake we love clean on May 13, 2023. Volunteers will be cleaning in and around the lake, the beaches adjoining public areas, and the main roads of the access points, which will make a huge difference in our watershed! To register to volunteer for the cleanup event please fill out the volunteer form below with your preferred (free!) t-shirt size and location. Groups will need to sign up individually. Refer to the volunteer references to download the volunteer release form, view the list and a map of team leads, sign-up locations, and cleanup sites. There is an additional map that shows public access points by access type (boat, beach, and other) if there are additional locations you would like to help keep clean and explore! After the cleanup, we will have a BBQ hosted by 603 Eatz and prize raffle drawings at Goodhue Boat Company (formerly Shep Brown’s). If you are interested in being a sponsor for the event or donating a raffle item, see the information below. The greater your contribution, the stronger our community is, and the cleaner our lake and surrounding public access areas will be!

The Lake Winnipesaukee Community Cleanup (LWCC) was formed in 2018 by a group of individuals passionate about preserving the lake’s beauty and keeping it clean for generations to come. For the past 5 years, the LWCC has held a cleanup event each spring, collecting over 12 yards of trash from around the lake each year. LWA and LWCC have partnered together to raise awareness and increase participation, minimizing the amount of debris and trash that pollutes Lake Winnipesaukee!
Thank you!
